What is soft-tissue-manipulation?

Soft tissue refers to muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments. The idea behind this manipulation is to bring the structure in a shortened position and then while applying internal pressure along the fibers' orientation, the structure is being lengthened along its full range of motion.
